Industrial track - Bosch IPCEI Project

European microelectronics value chain for highly automated driving and green mobility (EuroDrives), within the European Important Project of Common European Interest on Microelectronics and Connectivity (IPCEI ME/CT), advances video-based perception and automated driving through the development of next-generation driver assistance controllers and systems. The project focuses on AI technologies for self-driving vehicles, emphasizing three main directions: advanced multi-modal 3D perception and fusion methods, AI for pushing the boundaries of automated driving and embedded AI optimizations for low-power hardware. The system integrates centralized architecture and full-surround computer vision to enable reliable driving and parking automation.

The session will give an update on the following activities:

- Metric 3D video-only offline perception

- Online maps generation for automated driving

-Painted symbols detection and the use of foundation models

- Precise landmarks 3D positioning with multi-view optimization techniques

- Embedded AI: bridging the gap between cloud AI models and automotive SOCs
